Laundry Gel

Laundry gel, or boergel, is a great alternative for washing clothes. Your skin is your biggest organ in your body, and wearing clothes means any chemicals you wash them with will be absorbed through your skin and enter into your bloodstream. These chemicals and fragrances wreak havoc with your endocrine system.

All tallow soap products are multi-use, biodegradable, grey water safe, safe for sensitive skin, dogs and cats, and excellent for cloth nappies.

For first time users that have been using washing powder and softener for some time, it is recommended to clean your machine to clear out the build up. Place half a cup of gel in the drum with 1L of hot water and then run your machine on the quickest setting.

Ingredients: Beef tallow, lye, water, organic lemon essential oil (optional)

Being a natural product the consistency does thicken over time and can be whisked or dissolved in warm water before use. This will not alter the effectiveness.

All lye has evaporated after the 6 week curing process.
