Healing Salve

Power packed with soothing, anti-inflammatory, healing herbs, this healing salve will work it's magic on dry, irritated, inflamed or itchy skin.

It is great for eczema, psoriasis, nappy rash, insect bites/stings, acne, sunburn, scrapes, scratches, shallow cuts, scars and burns.

Ingredients: Grass fed beef tallow, extra virgin olive oil, beeswax, comfrey, calendula, chickweed, plantain.

*Comfrey is not to be used on very deep wounds as it’s healing ability is very strong and the wound needs time to heal internally first. In cases of deep puncture wounds, we recommend using a yarrow tincture for a longer amount of time to heal the inside and then applying the salve once the wound has become more superficial.

Comfrey - accelerates healing of the skin and wounds. It inhibits the growth of bacteria, helping to prevent infections, and minimizes scarring. Contains Allentown which boosts cell growth and repair. Anti-inflammatory and relieves pain, inflammation, and swelling in joints and muscles.

Calendula - speeds up healing and wound closure while improving skin firmness and hydration. Increases the blood and oxygen availability in the infected area, which encourages rapid healing. Antimicrobial and antibacterial. 

Plantain - anti-inflammatory, analgesic. Wards off infection, helps stop bleeding, and reduces inflammation, taking away the sting or itch.
